How to make Jack Daniel’s Grilled Steak Recipe
In only 30 minutes, you can grill around four strip steaks with the fascinating marinating recipe below.
- Four boneless strip steaks
- 100 ml whiskey (Jack Daniel)
- 100 ml soy sauce (low sodium)
- A tablespoon of olive oil
- A tablespoon of dijon mustard
- 50 gr light brown sugar
- Three cloves garlic, minced
- Ground pepper
- Four sweet onions, cut into circle slices
- Four zucchini, cut into circle slice
- A tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and ground pepper to season
1First, you need to prepare a large pan. Then, put all of the strip steaks on top of it. After that, you may set this aside for a while. After that, you may continue to prepare other ingredients. Simply prepare a mixing bowl to combine several ingredients in it.
2The ingredients are the whiskey, olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, mustard, ground pepper, and garlic. Combine the ingredients until they are completely mixed. Then, you may go back to the strip steaks by pouring it with the marinade mixture that you have prepared before.
3In marinating the steak, make sure you coat both sides of the steak evenly. Next, prepare a plastic wrap and use it to wrap the large pan with. Here, you may allow the steak to marinate in the refrigerator for around 4 hours or more. Also, don’t forget to turn the steak while you are marinating it in the fridge.
4To continue, you may get the steak out of the fridge and let it rest for 30 minutes. While waiting, you may use the time to set the charcoal grill. Here, you need to set it into direct grilling. Simply turn the heat over high heat. After the grill is ready, you may put the steaks on it.
5In preparing the grill, make sure you give some oil in the grate and also prepare a paper towel with a bit cooking oil in it. After that, you may grill the steak on top of the prepared grill. Cook the steaks for around 6 to 8 minutes until the steaks turn medium-rare.
In cooking the steak, you may set the time based on the level of doneness you like. Here, it is recommended to grill the steak until it reaches around 145 Fahrenheit-degree. Thus, by using an internal temperature, you may know that your steaks have been cooked into medium-rare. When the steaks are all done, you can transfer them to a cutting board and let them rest for around 5 minutes before you cut them into smaller pieces.
