Ingredients:

  • 168 gr chocolate (semi-sweet)
  • 85 gr chopped white chocolate
  • 20 pieces of fresh strawberries, washed and drained
  • Chocolate chips, colorful messes as the topping

Directions:

1First of all, prepare two medium bowls (heatproof). Then, fill each bowl with the chopped chocolate and the other with the white chocolate. Next, prepare two medium saucepans and heat it over medium heat with a bit of water in it.

2Bring the water to simmer and put the bowls of chocolate into each saucepan to melt the chocolate in it. Stir the chocolate until the texture turns smooth. Besides, you may also use the microwave to melt the chocolate. Stir and heat in the microwave in only a minute until the chocolate is completely melted.

3After that, remove the melted chocolate from the heat and continue to prepare for other ingredients. Here, you need to prepare a sheet pan and line with a parchment paper or waxed paper on the surface of the sheet pan. Later, it is used to place the strawberries on it.

4Next, take the strawberries by holding its stem. Dip them into the melted dark chocolate. When ¾ part of the strawberry is coated with the dark chocolate, lift the strawberry and shake slightly to remove from any excess chocolate drip. Do the same step for the remaining strawberries.

5When you have finished dipping the strawberry into the dark chocolate, place them onto the parchment paper. Prepare a fork to dip into the melted white chocolate. Immediately, drizzle the melted white chocolate into the coated strawberries.

6Here, not only the white chocolate but you may also use other kinds of topping to be coated into your chocolate strawberries. Simply drizzle the chocolate chips and the messes over the chocolate strawberries. Thus, you will have more variations of strawberry chocolate.

Before serving, you need to allow the strawberries to rest until the chocolate is ready to set. The time needed usually takes around 30 minutes until they are all ready to serve.
