  • A can of crescent dough sheet or dinner rolls (refrigerated)
  • 100 gr chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • A half teaspoon of vegetable oil
  • A package of frozen raspberries
  • 50 gr sugar
  • A tablespoon of cornstarch


1First, to start, you need to heat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit-degree or 180 celsius-degree. Then, while waiting, you can prepare for a large cookie sheet. Also, spray it with flour and baking spray. To continue, you may unroll the crescent dough on top of the work surface.

2After unrolling the dough, divide them into two large rectangles. Then, prepare a small microwave bowl and fill with the chocolate chips and oil in it. Put it in the microwave over high heat for around 2 minutes to melt. Stir and make sure the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

3Then, spread the melted chocolate to the prepared dough evenly. Next, you need to roll the dough start from the long side of the rectangle into the other side of the dough. Also, don’t forget to pinch the edge of the dough to seal and prevent from leaking.

4To continue, prepare a serrated knife to cut the dough into several slices. Here you can make them into 12 slices. Then, place these 12 slices into the prepared cookie sheet. Make sure you place the seam down the side and lean each slice against other slices so that it can create a complete circle form.

5Next, put the cookie sheet into the oven to bake for around 14 to 18 minutes until the color turns golden brown. After the ring bread is completely cooked, you need to prepare a serving platter to transfer the bread to it. Here, use a large flat spatula, or you may also use a fish turner to transfer the ring bread.

6Then, continue to prepare a saucepan with sugar, water, and raspberries in it. Heat the oven over medium-high heat and bring the mixture until it gets boiled. Cook for around 5 minutes while stirring the berries until they burst. Next, mix the cornstarch with the water in a bowl and pour these ingredients into the saucepan.

Stir the sauce and cook for additional 2 minutes until you get the sauce thickened. After that, don’t forget to strain the sauce through a mesh strainer. Serve the dessert by pouring a quarter cup of sauce over the crescent ring. Also, you may add the remaining sauce to enjoy and get a better taste.
