How to Make Chicken Fajita Pasta

The homemade chicken fajita pasta is more practical and saves the money. For this delicious meal, spent your time for about 30 minutes. You will get your food at the table. Check all the cooking tools and ingredients which necessary before cooking. Let’s got to the kitchen and start cooking!


  • ½ kg of boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • Three tablespoons of fajita seasoning (you can replace with Homemade Taco)
  • 2-3 of bell peppers, diced finely
  • One clove of onion, diced finely
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil
  • Three cloves of garlic, sliced finely
  • 2 cup of chicken broth (choose with low-sodium)
  • One can of diced tomatoes and green chiles
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 3 cups of penne pasta
  • Salt to your taste


1Cube the chicken breasts into small pieces. Pour half of the fajita or taco seasoning thoroughly. Put a medium frying pan over high heat. Add one tablespoon of olive oil. After heated, fry the chicken carefully, don’t forget to turn over to get the browned evenly. It takes 4-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.

2Use the same pan and add one tablespoon of remaining olive oil over the high heat. Add the bell pepper, onion and a half of taco or fajita seasoning. Stir occasionally to get the blackened veggies. Reduce the heat to low heat, then add the minced garlic, stir well to get fragrant. Remove the vegetables from the heat.

3Still using the same pan, add the cream, chicken broth, diced tomatoes and penne pasta. Bring to boil with stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to medium-low heat, covered with a lid and let the pasta becomes tender. It takes about 15 minutes in cooking. Don’t open a lid.

4After 15 minutes, turn back the chicken and veggies into the pan. Stirring frequently until all ingredients combined well. Remove from the heat. Your Chicken Fajita Pasta is ready to enjoy. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy with garlic bread to more obvious experience.
